To get started, submit an inquiry form and we’ll schedule a consultation. We’ll get to know each other better and you’ll tell me all about your wedding vision. Once we’ve created your package, a signed contract and a 25% deposit will secure your date on my calendar.

Yes! I am registered in New York State under the legal business name Garrett Maynard Photo Company, LLC. I also have up-to-date business and property liability COIs that are available to review upon request.

How do you protect photos?

Every good backup system incorporates lots of redundancy. While I'm on site, I carry two cameras so I can continue photographing if one fails and there are two cards in each creating immediate duplicates of every photo I capture. When I get home, your photos are backed up to two more drives and kept in separate locations, with at least one copy in a waterproof and fireproof safe. This process results in a total of 4 different copies (two cards and two hard drives) to ensure safety in the event of multiple drive failures.

CAN WE HAVE THE RAW IMAGE FILES?

In general, no. Part of the price you pay is the hours of backend work I do to bring your day to life with mindful editing and gallery curation. The RAW images are not a reflection of my work.

DO YOU USE PHOTOSHOP TO EDIT PHOTOS?

Most of my final photos never see Photoshop for a second and are edited to make colors, skin tones, and light look the best they can while retaining the original feel. I don't manipulate body shape...Small blemishes, zits, smudges, or distracting elements in the background may be removed to make the subject more impactful.

How will our photos be delivered?

Great question! Your photos will be delivered to your email as a link to a private online gallery. You will have full access to the gallery and can provide access to others at your discretion. All photos are delivered fully edited and without watermarks. Downloads are unlimited and free of charge.

What camera gear do you typically bring to a wedding?

I always have two Canon 5D Mark IV bodies each equipped with a 35mm f/1.4, a 50mm f/1.2, or an 85mm f/1.4 lens.

Can we print our photos?

Of course! Your gallery will have a high-quality, full-service print shop attached where you can create prints, canvasses, cards, etc. Otherwise, upon downloading your gallery, you will receive a printing release that covers you if a print company asks for professional printing permissions.
