Introduction
As a destination elopement photographer, Garden of the Gods is one of the best locations for your elopement in the continental United States. Justin & Hailey dreamt of eloping in Colorado with their closest friends and family, and eventually they decided on the beautiful red rocks of Garden of the Gods.
First Look & Private Vows by the White Rock
We collaborated the day before their elopement day to meet up at the park and choose a ceremony location, and before we knew it, it was elopement day! Hailey & Justin shared an AirBnB and got ready with friends in Colorado Springs. The forecast for the day bounced back and forth between rain and sunshine, but we were determined to have a wonderful day, rain or shine. Thankfully the sun stayed out and gave us beautiful conditions! Once they had both prepped and written their vows, we met at the park for their first look, which we chose to follow with private vows in front of the white rock. Hailey is into bird watching, so it was extra special to have a black-billed magpie as a witness for these moments. Despite the cold and wind, the emotional gravity and anticipation for their ceremony kept our spirits high!
Elopement Ceremony at Three Graces Plaza
The Three Graces Plaza in Garden of the Gods Park is the perfect location for an intimate elopement when you are trying to prioritize accessibility and privacy. With one trail in and one trail out, the foot traffic is minimal and the walk from the parking lot is simple. Their ceremony, officiated by a celebrant from Simply Eloped, was so sweet and the Colorado sunshine gave the surrounding rocks a gorgeous red hue. With the ceremony concluded, we celebrated by signing the marriage license to make it official, fun photos with friends and family, and plenty of epic sunset portraits around High Point Overlook and Balanced Rock – the perfect ending to a perfect adventure elopement in Garden of the Gods.
